RATE
The studio rate will be specified prior to start of the session by the studio manager. The day or hourly rate will begin promptly at the pre-arranged session start time. For example, if you booked your session to begin at 10:00 am and you don’t arrive until 11:00 am, you will still be charged the day or hourly rate from 10:00 am. As a courtesy to you, the studio will be available 1/2 hour prior to the start of the session for any instrument load-in and setup. Please arrange for this in advance with the studio manager.
ENGINEER
As a courtesy to you, an engineer will be provided throughout the duration of the session. However, if you choose to provide your own engineer, the per-day or hourly rate is still applicable. Silverlake Recording Studios will not be responsible for any engineering costs outside of this agreement and will be not held liable for any damaged equipment or loss of data pertaining to the session.
DEPOSIT
50% deposit of the entire session is required upon booking, unless otherwise specified by the studio manager. If we do not receive your payment within 3 days prior to the start of the session, we may cancel the session.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made prior to 48 hours preceding the start of the session to receive a full refund. If we receive your cancellation request after 48 hours preceding the start of the session, your entire deposit will be forfeited and no portion of your deposit will be refunded to you. However, if you choose to reschedule the session within 60 days of the original session date, we will apply your original deposit towards the rescheduled session. However, if you do not reschedule within 60 days, no portion of your deposit will be refunded to you. Cancellations can be made either via email: darrenelpant@att.net or phone (323) 404-5598.
PAYMENT
Final payment is required at the end of your session and must be paid in full. We will accept cash, or credit card through PayPal. Personal checks will only be accepted as deposit and must be received no less than 5 business days prior to the start of the session.
EQUIPMENT AND RENTALS
Drum kits, snare drums, and guitar amps in the Silverlake Recording Studios’ collection will be billed at a daily flat rate. If you require any additional equipment, we will gladly arrange for rentals and delivery. Payment for rentals is an additional fee. Payment for outside rentals must be collected upon equipment pick up.
MEDIA AND STORAGE
Silverlake Recording Studios is not responsible for media left 30 days after the final session.
